Violas are found in most temperate regions of the world, being a large genus of about 550 species well known for their sweet-faced flowers.
Viola 'Blue Moon' is covered with delicate blue and cream flowers from spring through to autumn. Blooms release a delicate, sweet fragrance into the garden.
This variety was bred and selected here in Australia for its cold hardiness, habit, floriferous quality and unique colour.
Violas prefer fertile, moist, well drained soils. Plant in full sun to partial shade for optimum results.
Trim back in summer to encourage further blooming in autumn.
