Euphorbia 'Blackbird' was selected for its outstanding burgundy foliage colour which does not fade throughout the heat of summer or cold of winter. A sure way to add dramatic impact to your garden display. 'Blackbird' boasts a very compact, tidy habit with a prolific display of unique flowers of lime yellow from mid winter continuing on into spring. Euphorbia 'Blackbird' has also been trialled and tested for heat tolerance and has proven to have outstanding tolerance which makes this selection a must in the current climate. '.

Very low water requirements. This variety is dry tolerant once established. Plant in most soil types. Requires good drainage if receiving regular irrigation or in areas of high rainfall. Euphorbias do not like wet feet. Feed in spring with a slow release fertiliser. Pruning generally not required although cutting back spent flower stems to base will encourage a bushier habit. Take care to avoid skin contact with the milky sap as it can be irritating to some - wear gloves and dispose of cuttings. CAUTION - Harmful if eaten/skin & eye irritant.

• Container displays, small gardens, patios and courtyards • Adding Mediterranean feel to gardens and their unusual colours work well to accent other plants around them • Coastal regions • Commercial landscapes • Its hardy nature and minimal water requirements lend it to dry or gravel style gardens or xeriscaping
