Convolvulus 'Moroccan Beauty'

full sun
part shade
spread 60cm

A very dense and compact form of this universally popular ground cover. It's often utilised for low maintenance as a living mulch and it also works perfectly in cottage garden plantings. Masses of soft lavender blue flowers are freely produced from late spring through to autumn. It trails well when planted near rocks, above embankments and retaining walls. 'Moroccan Beauty' is equally useful for covering bare patches in mixed borders or for container culture. Convolvulus 'Moroccan Beauty' is ideal for 'no fuss' landscaping as well as those with limited space.

Choose a full sun location in most soil types given it is free draining. No pruning is required. An application of slow release fertiliser during spring would be beneficial to overall performance. A drought resistant plant once established.

  • Trail over rocks, embankments, retaining walls
  • Equally useful for covering bare patches in mixed borders
  • Containers and hanging baskets
