Dianella ‘Little Devil’ is a form selected for its distinctive new red growth, strong upright habit and stunning blue berries that stand above the foliage after flowering. Ideal for use in those hot spots in the garden, or planted in containers as typical of Dianella’s, ‘Little Devil’ is dry tolerant and has minimal maintenance requirements once established. Pruning back spent flowers if desired is all that’s required to maintain this plant. ‘Little Devil’ offers architectural, upright foliage and being a native, is naturally suited to Australia’s hostile climate. This plant is ideal for use in both commercial and residential landscaping projects. ‘Little Devil’ was selected by respected plant breeders Native Plant Wholesalers in Mount Gambier, Australia.

Best grown in fertile well drained soil in full sun to part shade. No pruning generally required other than to tidy (such as spent flower stems). Dry tolerant although regular watering should be given during dry periods in the first year of planting, to establish a healthy root system. The clumps will then become mostly self reliant requiring little attention.

• Planting en masse - 30cm apart • Growing in containers • Softening the edge of driveways and other hard surfaces • Both native and non native gardens • Coastal locations
